CHEQUERED FLAG
That wraps up two vital days of post-season testing in Jerez, with Giusti quickest in the afternoon session on a 1:30.322.
CARS OUT ON TRACK
We are heading into the final 40 minutes of the test, and the cars are back out on track. Quite a few are doing consecutive practice start at the end of the pitlane, while many are doing some at the start of their long runs. Looks set to be a busy end to the day!
UPDATE FROM THE PITLANE
We are about to start the final hour here and the track and pitlane are quiet. The cars are back in the garages, being tended to by the mechanics, and the drivers are either debriefing or resting after those races.
There is still another hour to go, so the work is not finished. Expect cars out on track soon!
AL DHAHERI ON FIRST F3 EXPERIENCE
For many in the garage at the moment, this is their first experience driving a Formula 3 car. Rashid Al Dhaheri is one of those and he also shared his thoughts on the test.
"It's been great fun so far. It's a brand new car, so that means there is a lot to learn, but we're getting on with it at the moment."

GREEN FLAG
Car cleared and we are back underway!
DE PALO ON TEST SO FAR
He has been hard at work this afternoon, as he gets used to his new MP car, but we did catchup with Matteo De Palo earlier today after the morning session.
"It's been good so far, working with a new team, trying different things. It's fun at the moment."
RED FLAG
Miguel Costa has stopped at the pit entry.
TRACKSIDE UPDATE
Long runs are the focus and whIle many have carved out a nice bit of space for themseleves out on track, some have not.
For example, Gowda, Kato and Deligny are currently stuck in a DRS train behind Chi.
PLAN OF ACTION FOR THE AFTERNOON
Long runs after long runs after long runs. This is the time of day where the teams will want to do quite a few race simulations. But it won't be about their pace going around the track.
They will be working through things like practice starts and tyre management, simulating real race experiences.
GIUSTI BACK OUT ON TRACK
The French driver missed the entirety of the morning session with an issue, but is back out on track. He has just completed a 1:30.322.
